Our girls varsity water polo team made a giant splash at the Contra Costa Tournament last Friday and Saturday. They took home 1st place along with a legacy and championship, according to Head Coach, Cameron Brahmst. After playing against fierce competitors such as Nevato (23-0), Tamalpias (9-6) and Drake (9-4), our WHS girls varsity water polo team is now ranked fifth in NCS; this is the highest WHS has ever been ranked. Coach Cameron is proud, yet he expected nothing less from his girls. This win is one of many that the team may add to their collection for the 2010 season.
