The girls soccer team crushed the Irvington Vikings, 5-0, at Tak Stadium Jan. 5. Junior Paige Diamond led the team with four goals and senior Julia Bartolo with one.
“I had a really good game, but i couldn’t have scored the goals without my teammates assists and work,” Diamond said.
Diamond, a 2008-09 first team all-league player, leads the team with eleven of the twenty-three scored goals of the season.
The huskies, with a 5-5 season record, will face the James Logan Colts, record 7-3, at Tak Stadium Jan. 7.
