The girls volleyball team took on the James Logan High School Colts Sept. 29. The first game was high-scoring, but the Huskies won 30-28. The second game was close, but WHS lost momentum, 22-25. With the series tied one-to-one, the Huskies decided to take charge by winning the next two matches.
“We practiced hard all this week for this victory,” senior Cody Bates said.
The Huskies are now in second place in the MVAL behind Mission San Jose High School.
