The baseball team did not advance to MVAL playoffs. They ended the season with a 1-12 record. Their only win came against American. Senior Blaine Carlile led the team with the highest batting average at .408, which is also the fifth best batting average in the league.
The girls and boys badminton teams were able to advance to the MVAL championships. Their season ended at MVALs, because no players advanced to NCS.
The boys track team’s final season record was 5-1, with their only loss coming against Logan.
After a successful meet at MVAL championships, the team will be well-represented at the NCS playoffs in multiple events, including the 4x400m relay, 4x100m relay, 800m race, one-mile, and the two-mile.
Girls track ended their season with a 3-3 record. At MVALs, senior Erika Gerards advanced to NCS for pole vaulting and junior Sabrina Swayzer and sophomore Lilly Walker advanced for the high jump.
The 4x100m relay team, which includes sophomores Betsy Fryan and Lilly Walker, junior Sabrina Swayzer, and senior Annie Nguyen, and the 4x400m relay team, which includes Fryan and sophomores Lauren Wondka, Kristi Gee, and Eryn Raymond, qualified for NCS as well. Raymond also made it to NCS for the 800m race. Sophomores Jessica and Rachel Gerards qualified for the one and two-mile races.
The NCS playoffs for both boys and girls will be held on May 23 at Castro Valley.
The softball team finished their season with a 5-7 league record. They did not advance to MVALs.
Freshman pitcher Emily Gibson struck out 84 batters and had an earned run average of 1.77.
The boys volleyball team completed their season with a 7-5 record. They qualified for MVALs and were matched with Logan.
The boys defeated Logan in their first meeting in the regular season, but lost the second time. In playoffs, they ended their season with another loss against Logan by a score of 1-3.
