I have been working now for about a year and a half at a Grocey Outlet. When I first started working there I was really nervous. I didn’t really know anyone there. It took me a while to understand how everything worked and to memorize all the codes for the cash register, but eventually I got the hang of it. I met the other employees and they were really nice to me. I made friends and soon enough I fell into a routine. I work there fulltime during the summer and when school starts again. I work on the weekends. Its kind of fun using the cash register and helping customers out, but there are some bad things about working at a grocery store. Working at Grocery Outlet, I do get to meet many interesting people, but not all customers are nice. In many instances I have to deal with rude customers who blame me for any problem they come across within the store. Sometimes they can be rather hurtful and or scary. So next time you are filing a complaint remember that employees are people too and are most likely are not to blame for your problem.
